The invention relates to a method for processing data representative of an interaction between a user (12) and his work environment (14), characterized in that it includes the following steps:;acquisition (E1) of data representative of the position in the course of time of the user's gaze at visual elements of a visual scene forming part of his work environment, during the interaction between the user and at least one interface element of the work environment, acquisition of these data being achieved by an oculometric apparatus,;processing (E3) of data acquired in this way in order to determine at least one visual pattern comprising a sequence of visual elements and occurring on several occasions in the course of time.
