USE OF CERTAIN FENIL-NAPHYTLE COMPOUNDS WHICH HAVE NO SIGNIFICANT AFFINITY FOR ER ALPHA OR BETA FOR THE PROTECTION OF NEURANS AND OLIGODENDRACITS IN THE TREATMENT OF MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS. The present invention relates to a novel use for certain similar pheninaphthyl compounds - SERMs that do not exhibit alpha or beta type estrogen receptor (ER) affinity in the treatment of multiple sclerosis.
