COMPOSITION FOR TYPICAL APPLICATION IN THE FORM OF WATER-TO-EMULSION EMULSION, COSMETIC USES OF A DRY SKIN TREATMENT COMPOSITION AND PROCESS. The present invention is a composition for topical application in water-in-oil emulsion form which contains at least one emulsifying silicone elastomer and at least one semicrystalline polymer. The present invention also concerns the use of the composition according to the present invention for skin care, and in particular for feeding the skin, preventing transepidermal water loss and protecting the skin.
