APPLICATION OF A HYDROPHILIC MATRIX CONTAINING POLYACRYLIC ACID DERIVATIVE, A SIMPLE AIR OF CELLULOSE AND A DISINTEGRATING AGENT, IN THE PRODUCTION OF MEDICATIONS FOR THE TREATMENT OF DISEASES OF WOMAN'S DISEASES

A hydrophilic matrix is described which comprises a) at least one polyacrylic acid derivative in a preferred amount of 0.5-40%; b) at least one cellulose ether in a preferred amount of 30-90%; and c) at least one disintegrant in a preferred amount of 2-50% of the matrix weight. This matrix is used in combination with at least one pharmacologically acceptable active ingredient for the manufacture of controlled release solid bioadhesive drugs for the treatment of vaginal diseases such as vulvovaginal candidiasis, bacterial vaginitis or trichomoniasis. The matrix is used in solid formations in an amount of 5-60%, preferably 20-40%, and the active ingredient in an amount of 2-70%, preferably 5-50% of the weight of the drug.
