This invention is for fractures of tibia [leg bone] which are 800000 to 10000 per year in India is completely Indigenous nail which is simple, easy economical & with minimum traumatizing technique & early evacuating reducing cost of treatment. The metal is 316L atainless steel [no metal failure or corrosion]. The bending force is 52 Kg per square cm as against 42 Kg per sq cm of interlocking nails. So it is strong optimum resilient & elastic, it takes the shape of tibial medullary cavity [physiological bend]. The union rate is 98% [within 8-10 weeks-][4 weeks earlier] & bending [pathological] & breaking rate is only 2% as against universal rate of 6% insipte of immediate weight bearing [causes axial compression at fracture site leading to early union] [not done in other interlocking system] & 0% breaking of interlocking screw as against universal 6% Due to early weight bearing the patients can resume their duties early & helping to national economy. Along with basic lower cost [1/10th of imported & 1/4th of Indian version] no costly instruments & equipments needed like other nails. It has D shaped platform at the top which takes all blows of hammer & weight, acts like beam over two walls, the lower tapering end negotiates distal fragment without splintering the same & there are only two holes for interlocking screws & so the nail is not weakened due to more holes.
