A KIT FOR THE RAPID DETECTION OF IGM ANTIBODIES TO LEPTOSPIRA

The present invention relates to a kit for the rapid detection of Leptospira IgM antibodies present in human serum or plasma or whole blood. The kit comprises of a comb device, wash buffer , sample diluent and conjugate. The comb device has two dots, ( Fig.l ) the upper dot is the control dot and the lower dot is the dot for the detection of IgM antibodies to Leptospira. The 'T' dot is coated with the Leptospira antigen and the control dot is coated with anti species IgG.
