The invention is a method, system or computer program product for video analytics along with inputs from multiple other sensors. The invention also relates to a method for representing high dimensional heterogeneous data from multiple sensors including video. The invention includes a system for measuring the similarity of tupular representation of the data. The present invention is a system for composition of clusters present in spaces of different dimensions. The invention is particularly useful for mining videos that allows multiple perspectives to the similarity of events. In the preferred embodiment of the invention data from multiple sensors is used for event detection and recognition from different views by taking various combinations of sensor data. The invention includes a method for measuring the usualness of an event component or the event itself. It also includes a method for predicting the possibly usual and unusual events that can occur in an area.
