Systems for checking the loading of a print forme magazine are disclosed, the print forme magazine with at least two print formes being stored in the print forme magazine, each of which has a coding and at least one code reader is provided, said code reader reading the coding of the print formes in a recording region, said recording region of the code reader reads the coding of at least two print formes arranged adjacently horizontally or vertically together and/or the code reader has an image sensor and an illumination system for lighting the recording region. Systems are also disclosed, for at least transporting at least one print forme stored in a print forme magazine to a cylinder, wherein an analytical unit connected to the code reader or another registration device stores information regarding the transport of each print forme stored in the print forme magazine to the cylinder and/or at least the analytical unit connected to the code reader has a signalling device.
