: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition f or paracetamol bi-layer tablet which has sustained release phase in one layer and immediate release phase in the other layer. The present invention provides convenient dosing intervals so that sleeping schedule of patent would not be affected. Therapeutic level of paracetamol is maintained up to 12 hours.
