A WATERSTABLE GEL FOR DRESSING OF PELLETISED AQUATIC SPECIES FEED FOR TRANSPORTING AQUACULTURE FEED ADDITIVES

A gel based formulation is developed with an objective of providing a neutral carrier for medication/other nutritional adjuncts to aquaculture species-as a "TOP DRESS" on feed. The novelty of the invention is that the gel dries up quickly after it is coated onto feed granules/pellets when exposed to air. This preparation does not allow the top dressed preparation to leach into water. Immonostimulants, probiotics and other medicaments can also be added to the gel.
