A stick-kit or ELISA-Kit for evaluating the physical state of a subject suffering from a respiratory bacterial infection comprising a) an immobilized capture agent capable of capturing one or more markers in the form of (i) urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (uPAR). (ii) Soluble urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (suPAR), and/ or (iii) one or more degradation products of (i) or (ii), and b) a binding partner capable of binding to the said marker, the binding partner comprising c) a label system.
