The original-leather industry faces several factors which avoid the same being obtained under suitable price, quality and legal conditions; one of said factors refers to the every day more strict protection regulations for some animals, which authorities establish in order to avoid indiscriminate slaughter of said animals and the extinction thereof. The present invention relates to the synthetic leather industry and mainly to the development of a process for obtaining leather imitating Armadillo Lezard Teju-Ring leather for the manufacture of leather articles, the process consisting in: Selecting and cutting the leather, embossing it with a press using suitable moulds, filleting or peeling the embossment; applying adhesive to the embossed leather, cutting interlinings and attach them to the embossed leather, after said steps the leather being ready to manufacture leather articles such as boots.
