A USER REGISTRATION METHOD, SYSTEM, TERMINAL AND SERVER BASED ON SESSION INITIATION PROTOCOL.

A user registration method, system, terminal and server based on session initiation protocol are provided. The method includes: the terminal sends a registration request; the terminal receives the message, when the message indicates that the user number has been registered in the other terminal, and the terminal decides to replace the registration of the other terminal, the terminal sends a message to register the sending request terminal and cancel the registration of the other terminal, and stops the other terminal to send registration request message to the register server. Another user registration method based on SIP is provided, the method includes: receiving registration request message; sending a message to the terminal, when the user number is discovered to have been registered on the other terminal; when receiving the request replacing message, registering said sending request terminal, canceling the registration of the other terminal, and sending information to indicate the registration of the other terminal is cancelled. By using the above method, it can make the user to register in the other terminal in the case that the previous registration is not cancelled.
