The stretcher has multiple frame sections containing two profiles (B, D), which are made of extruded materials, where one of the profiles is locked into the other profile in longitudinal direction. One of the extruded materials is made of plastic and softer than the other extruded material made of aluminum or aluminum alloy. The profile (D) is provided with tapered corrugations, which are embedded in the profile (B). The profile (B) contains an edge connected with a canvas. Adjustment mechanisms (F) enable the movement of a flexible wall, and the profiles are made of PVC. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a stretcher frame section.
