The furniture i.e. chair (1), has a management structure for carrying persons. A top structure (3) detachably supports a top frame (3a), where the frame over the top structure is modifiable such that support elements are arranged on a fixed part. A base is movable between a preferred orientation and half preferred orientation. The base is supported by the top structure in a position relative to the fixed part, based on orientation of the frame relative to the fixed part. The top structure has a space for accommodating a chassis (2). An independent claim is also included for a method for transforming a cabinet.
