The device (1) has a substrate material for breeding crops. Material culture substrates (4, 6) and a breeding material are included in a package that is utilized for growing the crops. A pouch stores seeds, where the package is made of paper. A sheet from three sheets (4', 4'', 4''') surround the substrates that consist rock wool. Graphic expressions (11, 12) e.g. text or drawings, are provided on outside of the package. A lid is equipped with a tab.
