The invention relates to a process for preparing pure oleanolic acid from Herba Viscum album, consisting in drying the starting material, grinding the same and subjecting it to extraction in a ratio of 1/20 m/v, with a mixture consisting of 70...80% acetone and 20...30% structured water "I", having an acid pH=1.8...2.6, for 12 hours, at the ambient temperature of 15...30A C, followed by purification, filtration and concentration under vacuum at a temperature of 35...40A C, the resulting precipitate representing the raw bioactive extract I, with an oleanolic acid content of 25%, being purified by dissolving under reflux, filtered, concentrated, then treated, filtered, dried at 105A C and atomized, thereby resulting the purified bioactive extract I as powder, with a content of 70% oleanolic acid, 5% other triterpenic acids and 3% flavonoids, to be dissolved under reflux in ethyl alcohol of 96A , treated with 0.2...0.3% m/v active carbon, stirred for 1 hour at 40...50A C, concentrated under vacuum at 35...40A C and treated with structured water "I" in a ratio of 9 : 1 v/v, the resulting suspension being maintained for 24 hours at 5...10A C, filtered under vacuum at 35...40A C and washed with 10% distilled water until a neutral pH value is reached; the resulting powder is the pure oleanolic acid having an oleanolic acid content of 97...99%.
