Use of compositions based on at least one polyorganosiloxane crosslinkable by the cationic route and on an effective catalytic amount of onium borate initiator salt for carrying out impregnation and/or for preparing coating which is antiadhesive employed at the engine block/cylinder head interface of engines, wherein the interface is in particular cylinder head sheet gasket. Also disclosed are processes for carrying out impregnation and/or for preparing coating which is antiadhesive employed at the engine block/cylinder head interface of engines by applying said compositions, and a sheet gasket which is impregnated or coated with a matrix obtained by crosslinking of the polyorganosiloxane present in said composition.
