METHOD FOR LABORATORY CULTIVATION OF LARVAE OF BLACKFLIES (DIPTERA, SIMULIIDAE)

A method for laboratory cultivation of the larvae of blackflies (Diptera, Simuliidae) includes growing thereof by means of a microcompressor. A magnetic stirrer -5, which forms in a container a directed water flow along a closed ring approximated to a natural one, is additionally used.
