METHOD FOR FIXATION OF AORTAL MONODISK PROSTHESIS IN SETTING OF NARROW AORTAL OSTIUM

A method for the fixation of the aortal monodisk prosthesis in the setting of the narrow aortal ostium includes the stage of the direct control of the fixation quality applying the separate U-shaped sutures. The combined aortal-ventricular fixation with 14-16 U-shaped sutures is performed. 4-5 suitures are fixed while being passed through the Teflon strip in the projection of the non-coronary cusp of dissected aortal valve. The prosthesis is oriented along the greater curvature of the monodisk prosthesis. The rest of the sutures (10-11) are fixed in the projection of the left and right coronary cusps of the aortal valve to he aortal position along the lesser and partially greater curvature of the monodisk prosthesis.
