METHOD FOR INTENSIVE GROWING OF COMMERCIAL CRAWFISH IN POLYCULTURE

A method for intensive growing commercial crawfish in a polyculture includes growing underyearlings in nursery ponds up to the stage of the commercial crawfish. The commercial crawfish is grown in a polyculture with pond fish at fish farms with a three-year rotation of fish growing. Stocking with crawfish is carried out at the end of August-beginning of autumn with underyearlings gradually with an interval in one year repeating stocking on the following year. Fishing off is carried out in three years by turn and they are stocked again with underyearlings of crawfish and youngs of the year of carp and other fish. A temperature of the water is maintained at 18-28 °С (while wintering - 2-4 °С), hydrochemical regime is kept within the limits of fishery norms and intensively fed with plants and animal feeds.
