A method for limiting the number and harmfulness of phytophages of berry-field plantations includes techniques of directed effect on populations of harmful insect species. In autumn, in the period of beginning and mass egg-laying of females of Exapate congelatella Cl. double expansion of Trichogramma (Trichogramma dendrolimi Mats.) is carried out. In spring-summer period, during appearing of caterpillars of phytophages single expansion of imago of Habrobracon (Habrobracon hebetor Say.) and Dibrachus (Dibrachus cavus W.) is carried. In the period of diapausing of caterpillars of lepidopterous pests and larvae of sawflies, the soil surface and vegetable residues are processed with a solution of the biological preparation Pecylomin.
