Method for acoustic prediction of sudden outbursts of coal, rock and gas in underground workings includes generation of acoustic vibrations with working mechanisms, registration of man-caused and natural acoustic vibrations passed through rock massive, measurement of characteristics of those, evaluation of stressed state. Besides that one simultaneously determines velocity, phase, amplitude parameters of man-caused and natural acoustic vibrations with following integrated analysis of those, with comparison to critical values, and determination of probability of manifestation of gas-dynamical effect (P) is determined from relationship:.
