HIGH PRESSURE CHAMBER FO MOSSBAUER INVESTIGATIONS

High-pressure chamber for implementation of Mossbauer investigations, mostly in range of temperatures from boiling temperature of helium to room temperature that has outer body made of beryllium bronze, inner cylinder and movable piston that is installed to that cylinder, windows transparent for γ-radiation, cavity for placement of sample under investigation, manometer, at that all the parts of the body and the piston are made of beryllium bronze BrB2 thermally processed till getting hardness 39-40 u., and the chamber itself is arranged as cut in horizontal plane cylindrical container of two parts – working chamber and cover provided with centering conical tooth and connected to each other with bolts at axis of which in one part opening is provided for installation of outer vibrating source of radiation, window made of boron carbide and place for installation of sample under investigation, and in the other part – window made of boron carbide, opening for passage of γ-radiation with placement of sample under investigation between the windows where I diameter positions at edges of working chamber two axial openings are provided.
