A method for detecting the walls of the bulb of duodenum endoscopically provides for esophagogastroduodenoscopy. When the endoscope is removed and inverted, the duodenal lesion is localized relative to the angle of the stomach. The middle part of the lesser curvature is continued as the posterior wall of the bulb of duodenum at the angle of 20° clockwise from the vertical axis of the stomach and continues to 12 hours point of the imaginary clock dial.
