The invention relates to means for processing multi-spectral aero-space images obtained by systems of remote sounding of Earth. Method for increase of spatial resolution of multi-spectral aero-space images on basis of classification of spectral signatures of objects in which multi-spectral aero-space image consists of two or more groups of spectral images, each group of images includes given spectral range and is characterized with same values of spatial resolution, at that spatial resolution of images of different groups differs, is in determination of radiometric values of signals of spectral images with smaller spatial resolution by spectral images of those with best spatial resolution. Classification of spectral signatures of objects with account of physical characteristics of those increases spatial resolution of all the spectral aero-space images to value specific for group with highest spatial resolution. The invention increases spatial resolution of spectral aero-space images at remote sounding of Earth.
