Process for creating without mechanical agitation a flow pattern in a continuous liquid phase (2, 12) which is contained in a reaction vessel (4, 14) and comprising a dispersed phase (1, 11) selected from the group consisting of solid particles which can also be droplets coated or immiscible liquid having the dispersed phase a different density of the density of the continuous phase and being said dispersed phase undergoes a processing during which the particles or droplets need to remain submerged and uniformly distributed within the continuous phase; characterized in that a part (3, 13) of the continuous phase (2, 12) is continuously or periodically withdrawn and injected into the reactor above or below the free surface of the continuous phase in an opposite direction the natural displacement of the dispersed phase caused by the density difference, at a rate to prevent flotation or sedimentation or coalescence of the disperse phase.
