Installation for filling container units with a plurality of medications, which correspond, respectively, to the weekly needs of a plurality of different patients, who must take these medications in an orderly sequence according to date (day of the week) and time of day (in the morning, at noon, in the afternoon, at night), according to a medical prescription -related to the patient-, in which the packaging units have accommodation boxes arranged in a matrix configuration in lines and columns for the medication administration units -capsules, tablets, dragees-, which must be taken by the respective patient in each case within the time intervals marked through the disposition of the boxes within the matrix, with the following characteristics: a) distribution stations (16) are individually associated with the packaging units (11), in which it is carried out automatically fill in lines of all boxes (12) or a partial number of selected boxes; b) a longitudinal transport installation (14) is provided, by means of which the container units (11) can be transported in the predetermined direction sequentially to the distribution stations (16) individually associated with the different medications; c) the feeding of the medication administration units to the distribution stations is carried out by means of transverse transport facilities individually associated with the medications; d) the longitudinal transport installation (14) and the transverse transport installations (36, 38) are adapted to each other as regards the transport stroke and the transport capacity, in the sense that for each stroke of transport -which is carried out in the direction of the columns of the arrangement of housing boxes- of the container units (11) and for each transport race -which is carried out in the direction of the lines of the provision of accommodation boxes - of the transverse transport installations, a sequential temporary filling of the housing boxes (12) can be achieved, which is carried out in each case in synchronized stop phases of the longitudinal transport and transverse transport cycles; e) for the activation of the distribution stations (16) in the direction of the filling of medications in accordance with the prescription of the packaging units (11), an electronic control unit (41) is provided, which generates the control signals necessary in this regard from a processing of information signals, which contain the information about the patients and the contents of the packaging units associated in each case to these patients and which are fed to the control unit (41) of a continuously in a sequence synchronized with the advance movements of the packaging units (11) and associated in a unique way to the patients, characterized in that the administration units are arranged equidistant on blister strips (21), which are wound on a reserve roll (22) and which can be detached from it, because between the reserve rolls (22) and the distribution stations (16) are arranged transport numbers for transverse transport of the blister strips (21), and because the distribution stations (16), seen in the direction of transport of the blister strips (21), have ejection units (28) disposed of in a consecutive manner, by means of which the medications can be expelled from the blister cavities (23) and can be delivered to the housing boxes (12) of the packaging units (11).
