Procedure for forecasting the amount of energy that a consumer, especially industrialist, needs from an energy producer or an energy supplier, characterized by the following procedural steps: a) preparation of a series of starting data (9) derived from quantities of control (3) of a future production process in a defined period of time (t) for at least one consumer (4, 4an, 4bn); b) obtaining at least one historical production process in the form of a series of destination data (14) by comparison of the series of ready made data (9) with data series (12) derived from process control quantities historical production; c) establishment of the historical energy load model (15) corresponding to the historical production process obtained; d) preparation of a forecast plan (5) based on the established historical energy load model (15); e) transmission of the prepared forecast plan (5) to an energy producer or supplier (6).
