A method for manufacturing a decorative laminate comprising a porous core and a decorative surface layer comprising the steps of: (i) grinding a polyurethane resin, polyisocyanurate and / or rigid phenolic cured to form particles are able to pass through a sieve of 2 mm; (Ii) absorbing 1-15 wt% of water in the particles; (Iii) forming a mixture comprising 85% by weight of particles having absorbed water and 2-15% by weight of a binder; (Iv) compressing the mixture between the bands of a continuous press or between the compression plates of a static press bands for binding the particles together and form the porous core; and (v) providing the core of a decorative surface layer during or after its manufacture; wherein the bonding agent comprises an adhesive and at least one polymeric resin selected from: (a) a resin having a density of 600-1400 kg / m3 which is obtainable by polymerising a mixture comprising polyols and crude methylene diphenyl diisocyanate, ( b) a formaldehyde-based resin; and (c) a poly (vinyl acetate); characterized in that: the core contains from 0.8 to 12% water; the decorative surface layer is constituted by a first surface web having a translucent or semi-translucent layer; and the particles comprised in the core and the polymeric resin have different colors.
