Compressor (1) adjustable radial artery to stop the flow of blood through the puncture wound in the radial artery following a catheterization procedure, comprising: an arm (2) of support provided with a pad (5) support , an arm (3) compression connected to the arm (2) support and provided with a pad (6) compression, and means (7, 9, 10) adjusting pressure to adjust the distance between the pad (5 ) support and the pad (6) compression pad (5) and support pad (6) compression adapted to press against surfaces well defined contact the bottom and the top of the forearm, respectively being; characterized in that the pad (5) support is substantially longer than wide, the long dimension of the pad (5) support extends transversely to the arm (2) support and the small pad size (5) support has a width less than the width of a radius bone.
