METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR STERILIZATION AND FILLING OF CUP TYPE CONTAINER AND CUP TYPE CONTAINER-PACKED BEVERAGE MANUFACTURED BY THE APPARATUS

Cup-shaped containers can be turned over andtransferred with good stability from a sterilization-washing zone to the filling-sealing zone inside anaseptic chamber, and admixture of odor or microorganismsis prevented.The first conveyor 2 for conveying the cup-shapedcontainer 38 in an inverted state and a second conveyor 3for conveying the container in an upright statedownstream of the first conveyor 2 are disposed in seriesin substantially the same plane inside a continuousaseptic chamber 1. A container supply device, acontainer sterilization device, and a container washingdevice are disposed successively along the first conveyor2. A contents filling device 40, a lid material sealingdevice 41, and a device for discharging the sealed cup-shaped container are installed successively along thesecond conveyor 3. Sterilization and washing areperformed in an inverted state, while conveying thecontainer with the first conveyor 2. The washedcontainer is turned over and transferred from the firstconveyor to the second conveyor 3 and the contentsfilling and lid sealing are performed on the secondconveyor.
