A wireless communication apparatus that uses acommunication protocol to transmit and receive data with adata check bit, including a received data determining sectionthat performs a data check for received data by using the datacheck bit to determine whether the data is error; a receivedresult transmitting section that, when determined to be error,discards the data and transmits a retransmission request toother wireless communication apparatus of the transmittingorigin, whereas determined to be not error, transmits a messageindicating that the data is normal to the other wirelesscommunication apparatus of the transmitting origin; and aretransmission asking section that determines whether a formatof the data is incorrect or normal, and when determined tobe normal, passes the data to predetermined processing,whereas when determined to be incorrect, discards the dataand asks the received result transmitting section to requestretransmission of the data.
