Semantic object synchronous understanding implemented with speech application language tags

The system has a speech recognition and understanding module (14) receiving speech application language tags (SALT) program interfaces pertaining to user input recognition. The module processes the interfaces, an input to ascertain semantic information pertaining to a portion of the input. The module outputs a semantic object having text and semantic information for the portion by accessing a language model. An independent claim is also included for a computer readable media having instructions to handle information.
