A time-hne (301) shows the time-progression for the phases. A development output grouping (303) is the main development path for a System-of-Systems, whose pnncipal development period (305). A fan-out process (e.g. "spin-off process, dual use, expansion of operational scenarios, market expansion and more) (304) occurs during a fan-out period (307).
