This development allows Luthiers of fretted instruments a method of installing frets with increased accuracy. It is an improvement in calculation of fret placement using the Pythagorean Theory as the mathematical principle. This development is more critical at the end of the fret board closest to the bridge, due to the increased angle formed by the string when depressed, and the increased difference in length between the fret and the bridge, and the fret and the tangential point of string contact on the saddle.
