COMBINED ?-SECRETASE INHIBITOR AND PHENOTHIAZINE DERIVATIVE TREATMENT OF NEURODEGENERATIVE DISEASES

摘要

Neurological diseases such an Alzheimer's disease are treated with a combination of a secretase inhibitor (SI) and a phenothiazine. Administration of a gamma-secretase inhibitor (GSI) and quinacrine decreases adverse reactions associated with GSIs and improves the efficacy of treatment intended for both the phenothiazine and the GSI alone.
