According to embodiments of the present invention, there is provided an adjustment device for adjusting a distance between a take-off plate (128) and a treatment device (132) of a molding system (100) and a method for use thereof. More specifically, there is provided a distance adjustment device (202, 202') configured to adjust a distance between a take-off plate (128) coupled to a fixed platen (102) of a molding system (100) and a treatment device (132) coupled to a movable platen (104) of the molding system (100). The adjustment device comprises a movable platen engagement interface (208, 507) configured for attachment to the movable platen (104) of the molding system (100); a plenum engagement interface (206, 502) configured for attachment to the treatment device (132); a distance adjustment mechanism (210, 210') configured to selectively fix a position of the treatment device (132) relative to the movable platen (104) in a desired position.
