A method for processing the used liner of aluminum electrolyser includes the following steps: (1) crushing and grinding the used liner of aluminum electrolyser containing waste carbonaceous material and fireproof material into powder with particle size of less than 0.15mm, (2) crushing and grinding limestone and the slag of magnesium reducing reaction respectively into powder with particle size of less than 1mm, (3) mixing the used liner with limestone and the slag of magnesium reducing reaction proportionally, (4) roasting the mixture to obtain solid matter.
