Method and service processor for engaging a translator in a telephonic conversation

The method involves one subscriber dialing a service computer in a telecommunications network, requesting translation parameters, esp. the languages and topic, receiving the parameters at the service computer, matching the parameters with available translators and topics, selecting a translator and setting up a conference connection between the subscribers and the translator. An Independent claim is also included for a service computer for including a translator in a telephone conversation.
