The invention relates to a headphone with a behind-the-head headband, comprising at least one earpiece and a behind-the-head headband (10) to support the earpiece (30). The behind-the-head headband (10) further comprises a first and second rest position for resting on a temporal bone of a wearer of the headphones. The separation between the earpiece and the second rest position can be adjusted. As a result of the possibility of adjustment of the separation with relation to the rest position, the earpiece can be positioned exactly over the auditory channel of the headphone wearer without coming into a position pressing on the ear.
