In a method for building a data structure for a multi-core type processor from tabular data, a control unit creates an array in which the block number corresponding to the record in charge of each operation unit is stored. The operation units create arrays in which the record sequence number of the records in charge is stored in a parallel manner, create arrays in which information on item value access for accessing the item values included in the records in charge is stored for each data item in the parallel manner, and create the item values expanded so as to be accessed by the item value access information for each data item in the parallel manner.
