The object is to prevent the occurrence of surface blooming by controlling a scorch time, reduce a rolling resistance, provide a satisfactory level of stiffness for use as a side wall or clinch, and improve elongation at break and durability. Disclosed are: a rubber composition for a side wall and a rubber composition for a clinch, each of which comprises a rubber component comprising specified amounts of a natural rubber and/or an isoprene rubber and a butadiene rubber and/or an epoxidized natural rubber, an alkylphenol-(sulfur chloride) condensate represented by the formula shown below, and a specific fuller; and a tire having a side wall and a clinch respectively comprising the rubber compositions.
