SERIES DAMPER WITH HYSTERESIS IN ONE DAMPER

Series damper (100, 200) which has the following: a first damper (100, 204) with a flange (112, 212) and a cover plate (110, 210); and a second damper (106, 206) with a first and a second cover plate (114, 116, 214, 216) and a flange (118, 218). The flange and the cover plate of the first damper are in rotationally fixed engagement, and the flange of the second damper rotates without frictional engagement with the first and second cover plates. The series damper has a compliant element (128, 220) which is set up for bringing about the frictional engagement of the flange and the cover plate of the first damper. In some embodiments, the compliant element is in frictional engagement with the cover plate of the first damper, and is set up for engaging frictionally into a turbine hub of a torque converter. In some embodiments, the compliant element is connected in a rotationally fixed manner with the flange of the first damper. In some embodiments, the flange of the first damper has the second cover plate of the second damper.
