ELECTROCHEMICAL METHODS FOR SELECTIVE DETECTION OF FREE CHLORINE, MONOCHLORAMINE AND DICHLORAMINE

Electrochemical methods for detecting one or more of the different forms of chlorine that can exist, in various proportions, in a fluid sample, i.e., free chlorine, monochloramine, and dichloramine. The proportion of free chlorine, monochloramine, and dichloramine in the fluid sample can be varied by- adjusting the pH of the fluid sample. The present disclosure also relates to electrochemical methods for quantifying the amount of free chlorine, monochloramine, and/or dichloramine in a fluid sample by variously adjusting the pH of the fluid sample.
