PROCEDURES AND DEVICES FOR DETECTING PHOTONS IN THE PRESENCE OF A LINAC BEAM

In relation to medical or industrial systems employing both pulsed linear accelerator ('linac') sources and other photon sources, we describe methods and devices for detecting photons from those non-linac photon sources by synchronizing the photon detection system with respect to the pulses of the linac beam.
