The present invention relates to the use of polymer guanidine derivatives for the curative and/or preventive treatment of undesired microorganisms such as bacteria and phytopathenogenic fungi in pest management, including the treatment of seeds. The invention further relates to new combinations of active substances comprising at least one polymer guanidine derivative and at least one further fungicidal active substance, the use thereof for the curative or preventive treatment of undesired microorganisms in pest management including the treatment of seeds, and not least the treated seeds themselves.
