A maintenance support equipment comprises a judgment unit which judges whether or not a maintenance is performed according to existence or non existence of a second work different from a maintenance work performed for maintenance of a printing machine and a display control unit for displaying information on the maintenance instruction when a predetermined period passes during the period from the time at which it is last judged that the maintenance is performed until the time at which it is judged that maintenance is performed again. Accordingly, information indicating that a first work has been performed is automatically inputted in the maintenance support equipment. Therefore, more accurate maintenance information can be indicated to a worker.
