METHOD FOR REPRESENTING USER INFORMATION IN AN INSTANT MESSAGING, INSTANT MESSAGING SYSTEM AND DEVICE

A method for representing user information in an instant messaging which involves storing the correspondences between the user information from a first client and any other information constituting the user information, wherein the user information comprises an user name, an user information content and an opening buddy list information (101), according to the correspondences between the user information and other information, the user information content is provided to a second client of a buddy user in opening buddy list corresponding to the user information content (102). An instant messaging system and an instant messaging apparatus are also provided. By applying the method, system and device, multiple user information contents corresponding to single user name can be set, and different user information contents can be represented to different buddy users, thereby satisfying user customization and improving availability and user friendliness of the instant messaging tool.
