A method of artificial snow making includes the steps of (a) mixing water with sodium acetate; (b) dissolving the mixture at boil water temperature; (c) super cooling the compound; and (d) with presence of a seed crystal or nucleus around which a crystal structure can form. Sodium acetate has the ability to freeze at around 50 degree centigrade, and will stay stabilized in crystal form at any temperature around below 100 degree centigrade once crystallization initiated. The invented artificial snow crystals can be used for skiing slope in any environment with temperature condition not higher than 100 degree centigrade.
